1. Contest Description

In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, 92.1 The WOLF will conduct the America’s 250th Baseball & Apple Pie Giveaway.

During the contest period, listeners will have opportunities to answer American-themed trivia questions for the chance to win Syracuse Mets tickets and an apple pie from Lyncourt Bakery.

2. Contest Period

The contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, June 22, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, July 3, 2026.

Contest opportunities will occur on weekdays during regularly scheduled 92.1 The WOLF programming. Exact contest times and the total number of opportunities may vary.

3. Eligibility

The contest is open to legal residents of New York State who:

Are at least 18 years old at the time of entry;
Reside within the 92.1 The WOLF listening area; and
Can provide valid government-issued identification and any information required to verify eligibility.

Employees, officers, directors and immediate family members of 92.1 The WOLF, its licensee, parent companies, affiliated companies, Syracuse Mets, Lyncourt Bakery, participating sponsors, advertising agencies and promotional partners are not eligible.

“Immediate family” includes a spouse, parent, child, sibling and any person residing in the same household, whether related or not.

Unless otherwise stated by the station, individuals who have won a prize from 92.1 The WOLF during the previous 30 days are not eligible to win this contest.

4. How to Enter

Beginning Monday, June 22, 2026, listen to 92.1 The WOLF on weekdays for the American trivia question and the announcement instructing listeners to call.

When the announcement airs, call 315-472-0228.

The caller designated by the station—for example, the ninth caller, or another caller position announced on the air—will be given the opportunity to answer the trivia question.

The designated caller must:

Reach the station’s contest line;
Speak directly with a station representative or on-air personality;
Provide the requested contact and eligibility information; and
Answer the trivia question correctly within the time permitted by the station.

A designated caller who answers correctly will be declared a potential winner, subject to verification.

If the designated caller gives an incorrect answer, disconnects, cannot be heard clearly, fails to respond promptly or is found to be ineligible, the station may select another caller or end that particular contest opportunity without awarding a prize.

Calling the station does not guarantee that a call will be answered or selected. Entrants may encounter busy signals, disconnected calls, telephone carrier delays or other technical difficulties. The station is not responsible for calls that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, disconnected or not received.

Only calls made after the official on-air announcement are eligible. Calls received before the announcement may be disregarded.

5. Prizes

Each verified winner will receive:

Four tickets to one eligible 2026 Syracuse Mets regular-season home game of the winner’s choice, subject to availability, blackout dates and Syracuse Mets ticketing restrictions; and
One apple pie from Lyncourt Bakery.

The approximate retail value of each prize package is $100.00.

Game selection is subject to ticket availability. Certain games, promotional dates, premium seating areas, postseason games, sold-out games or special events may be excluded.

Tickets do not include transportation, parking, food, beverages, merchandise or other expenses unless expressly stated by the station.

The apple pie must be claimed or redeemed according to instructions provided by 92.1 The WOLF or Lyncourt Bakery. Flavor, size, pickup date and availability may be subject to bakery inventory and restrictions.

Prizes are nontransferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. The station may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.

6. Winner Verification and Notification

Potential winners must provide their full name, address, telephone number, date of birth and any other information reasonably required by the station.

Potential winners may be required to sign an eligibility affidavit, liability release, publicity release, tax documentation or other prize-claim documents.

A potential winner is not an official winner until eligibility has been verified by 92.1 The WOLF.

Failure to provide requested information, complete required documents or claim the prize by the deadline established by the station may result in forfeiture. An alternate winner may or may not be selected at the station’s discretion.

7. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on:

The number of listeners attempting to call;
The entrant’s ability to become the designated caller;
The entrant’s ability to answer the trivia question correctly; and
The number of contest opportunities conducted.

8. Taxes and Expenses

Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes associated with accepting or using a prize.

All expenses not specifically included in the prize description are the winner’s responsibility.

9. Publicity Release

Where permitted by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for 92.1 The WOLF and its promotional partners to use the winner’s name, voice, photograph, likeness, hometown and recorded contest participation for advertising, promotional and broadcast purposes without additional compensation or notice.

Calls to the station may be recorded and broadcast live or at a later time.

10. General Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to comply with these official rules and the decisions of 92.1 The WOLF, which are final regarding all contest matters.

The station may disqualify any person who:

Provides false or misleading information;
Attempts to manipulate or interfere with the contest;
Uses automated calling, dialing or entry methods;
Harasses station personnel;
Violates these rules; or
Acts in an unsportsmanlike, disruptive or inappropriate manner.

The station reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone or cancel the contest when circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the fairness, integrity or proper operation of the promotion.

If an on-air announcement conflicts with these written rules, the station will attempt to correct the discrepancy promptly. The contest will be conducted substantially as announced and described in these official rules.

11. Release of Liability

By participating, entrants release and hold harmless 92.1 The WOLF, its licensee, Syracuse Mets, Lyncourt Bakery, participating sponsors and each of their respective owners, officers, employees, representatives and agents from claims arising from participation in the contest or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, except where prohibited by law.

The station and promotional partners are not responsible for injuries, losses, canceled or postponed games, schedule changes, inclement weather, transportation problems, technical failures, telephone service interruptions or other circumstances outside their reasonable control.

If a Syracuse Mets game is postponed or canceled, the winner will be subject to the ticket policies established by the Syracuse Mets. The station is not responsible for rescheduling the game or replacing tickets beyond the remedies offered by the Syracuse Mets.
