Thousands of peopole are out of a job, or dealing with reduced hours due to the coronavirus pandemic, but there are some companies hiring for both temporary and full time employees.
Price Chopper Supermarkets announced that they are looking to hire more than 2,000 new part-time or temporary part-time teammates.
Tops Friendly Supermarkets is also hiring for both temporary and permanent positions.
Lowe’s is actively hiring for full-time, part-time and seasonal roles.
Dollar General is aiming to hire 50,000 new employees nationwide.
Byrne Dairy is also looking for additional help at this time, in store and in their manufacturing facilities. (Kim Maloney, a Human Resources Manager at Byrne Dairy, has headed to social media in Facebook community groups to let people know about jobs in food manufacturing.)
