April Fools… at Home!

We’re stuck at home!! Sooo for April Fools’ Day this year, , we’re going to have to think of some April Fools’ pranks that we can play at home for our family members. We won’t be cruel! But we do want to have a little fun too…. so maybe this will help!

  1. Move some common objects to odd locations around the home. Put the water bottles in a strange location. Move the coffee maker into the bathroom. Just choose some really odd places to put things.
  2. Put tape under remote control sensors or mouse sensors so they don’t work. Then laugh when your family gets frustrated.
  3. Cut out photos of insects and tape them or attach them to the inside of lampshades. When the lamps are turned on, it will look like bugs are hanging out on the shades.
  4. Food pranks are always fun, as long as you’re not wasting something that you really need in your “quarantine reserve” right now. One prank would be to put a straw in a cup of Jello and then let the Jello set overnight. In the morning, pretend it’s juice and watch your kid struggle to drink it.
  5. If you have a baby in the house, melt a chocolate bar and put it on a couple wipes. Call your spouse or other kids into the room so they can watch in horror as you “pick up” the mess.
  6. Swap out pictures! Print out some pictures of your family’s favorite celebs. Then, when noones around, swap out any framed photos that you have around the house. See how long it takes your family to notice that pictures of them have been swapped out for the rich and famous.
