53 or Free
The Chiefs open at home on April 6 vs. Rochester. If the temperature does not hit at least 53 degrees, fans can exchange their ticket stub for a ticket to any game in April or May.
Bobblehead nights
The Chiefs have created a “Generations Bobblehead Series”. Bobbleheads will be given away over five games and feature five former Chiefs including Trea Turner (April 22), Deion Sanders ( May13), Stephen Strasburg (June 24), Bobby Cox (July 29), and Thurman Munson (Aug. 19).
Jerseys
Replica jersey giveaways include the Chiefs road jersey (May 12), military themed jersey (May 20), a stars & stripes themed jersey (July 4) as well as a mystery jersey to be announced on Re-Opening Day (June 24).
Free food
On each of the 11 NBT Bank Family Sundays on the Chiefs schedule children 12 and under will receive vouchers for free food including a popcorn and Coca-Cola fountain drink (first inning), a Hofmann Hot Dog and Coca-Cola fountain drink (third inning), and a Perry’s Ice Cream cup (seventh inning). Also on Sundays, the Chiefs will once again feature a kids run the bases after the game.
Discounts
On each of the five Mondays home games this season, Chiefs fans can buy a Hofmann Hot Dog for 25 cents courtesy of Metro Mattress.
Also, $1 Thursday returns for 13 games this season. Fans can purchase $1 Hofmann Hot Dogs, $1 Coca-Cola fountain drinks, and $2 Saranac, Coors, Labatt products & 1911 Hard Cider.
Fireworks
There will be post-game fireworks after each of the team’s 11 home Friday dates and after every Saturday contest starting in June. Also, Syracuse general manager Jason Smorol said this season’s Fourth of July fireworks show will be the team’s biggest ever.
Bark in the park
Fans can bring their dogs to the games twice, on May 21 and Aug. 30.
Visitors
Special guests include The ZOOperstars! n July 13 while the Washington Nationals’ Racing Presidents will swing by Aug. 18 and 19.
Giveaways
The free stuff includes magnet schedules on April 8, poster schedules April 21, team photos June 2 and a MacArthur Stadium Replica on July 30.
