Syracuse students… here’s your chance!

KIDS! Who wants to join us on-stage at the tree lighting ceremony in downtown Syracuse?? Three Syracuse students will have the chance to join the City of Syracuse, the Mayor!, me 🙂 and Santa… in lighting the Clinton Square tree for the season.

Children are encouraged to share their favorite holiday story or book and explain why it means so much to them or a draw a favorite holiday scene. Three lucky participants will be chosen!

The “Share Your Story” challenge is part of the city’s annual “Home for the Holidays” celebration.

All entries must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17. The winners will be notified by 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 20. The winning entries will be posted on the city’s website and be on display in the city hall lobby. And the winners will be up on-stage on Friday, November 24th, right in the heart of downtown Syracuse. The ceremony starts at 6:30pm.
